The Town of View Royal

The town of View Royal was incorporated in 1988 and has a population of 8000.

View Royal is bordered to the south by Esquimat Harbor and offers many residents sheltered waterfront locations. To the north it borders the end of the Gorge Inlet. It also lies at the doorstep of Greater Victoria’s urban core and adjacent to the east to the Municipality of Esquimalt. It also borders Saanich, Colwood and Langford and the Highlands as well as Thetis Lake.
