Historical Esquimalt

Esquimalt is bordered to the east by Victoria, the south by the Straits of Juan de Fuca to the west by Esquimalt Harbor and View Royal and to the north by Gorge Inlet.

Esquimalt is home of the Pacific Headquarters of the Royal Canadian Navy at Naden and has a population of 16,209. Esquimalt offers a sunny location with many waterfront and water view homes from neighborhoods like Rockheights.

There are many parks such as Saxe’s Point, Macauley Point and recreation facilities, pools and an arena. West Bay Marina houses a float home community that is near an award winning waterfront condo development.

Gorge Vale Golf club is a popular Esquimalt Land mark with several adjoining townhouses and condo’s.

There are several shopping areas as well as a small industrial area.
